FAQs
What is the difference between packages?
The difference between each package is the canvas size, and thus, the level of detail. All canvas sizes are large-scale, allowing for a high level of detail and realism. However, the larger sizes allow for more flexibility in capturing the complexity of the composition, or larger, more-detailed portraits.
Do you travel?
Yes, I take on a limited number of interstate and international weddings each year.
Travel fees for interstate weddings start at $2,450.
Travel fees for New Zealand weddings start at $3,500
Travel fees for international weddings start at $10,000.
How far in advance should I book?
Peak season months (February-March & October) tend to book out 18-24 months in advance. I am usually fully booked 12-months in advance. Once you have booked your venue, I recommend getting in touch!
How do I book?
1. Leave me an enquiry with information about your wedding day.
2. If I am available, I will respond with a booking link and will issue your contract and invoice.
3. A 20% payment (plus an travel fees) and signed contract within 7 days is required to complete the booking, with the remaining balance to be paid 14 days prior to the wedding.
How does live wedding painting work? Will it fit into our wedding schedule?
Each wedding is different and I make sure I work to your schedule for the day. We will have a full-consultation 4-6 weeks prior to your wedding to finalise these details.

In most cases, I arrive approximately 1-2 hours prior to the moment you wish to capture (e.g. a moment from a photoshoot, your first look, or ceremony). During this time, I set-up and prepare your canvas.
​
When it is time to gather my reference photos for the painting, I will meet you at our pre-discussed location. For example, your ceremony space, or your favourite area of your venue. There, I will run a short photoshoot or photograph the moment as it happens (e.g. a moment from your ceremony).
​
I will then use my reference photos to paint from while your guests watch on.
​
At the end of the evening, I will show you the painting and then bring it with me to my studio for touch-ups.
​
I allow 12 weeks to complete the painting, however the painting may be complete in as little as 4 weeks, or occasionally 16 weeks if additional drying time is required.
